Throughout the year Guild members share their hand-building and throwing skills at public events by running Have-a-go sessions for children and adults as well as showing more advanced and technical skills through demonstrations. In 2019, new initiatives bought clay directly to the centre of St Albans, with DCPG working with the St Albans Museum and Gallery and the Cathedral and Abbey Church of St Albans. The Big Clay Day at the Museum and Gallery stimulated the highest number of visitors in one day since their opening.
