COVID-19 UPDATE – like so many things, our talks and demonstrations will continue to successfully be delivered online for the foreseeable future in 2021. Reviews are taken at our Committee Meetings to assess the viability and timing of re-instigating our physical monthly meetings, including demonstrations from renowned potters, our very sociable coffee mornings/afternoon teas and exhibitions/opportunities for selling. Whilst not currently being able to enjoy the face-to-face events, our ability to Zoom into someone’s actual studio is giving many new perspectives and much interest!
Members are notified via our Chair’s email updates of forthcoming Zoom events. Our quarterly Newsletters include write-ups of events for those who’ve not been able to attend as well as many varied features on all things ceramic and a Green Corner. Please note, non-members can join our MailChimp email list here: http://eepurl.com/dBLyCr to receive advance information about our DCPG Events. You can unsubscribe at any time. We welcome non-members to any of our demonstration events as guests for just £5 – please email John Alderman email@example.com for details about ways to pay and attend.
For the full 2021 calendar, see Events.
Note: Our physical meetings up to February 2020, were previously held at the Kings Langley Methodist Church, Hempstead Road, Kings Langley, WD4 8BR. All members of the public were welcome, members free, guests £5. The evening started with refreshments and chat from 7.30pm, followed by a talk and demonstration between 8-10pm. The DCPG borrowing library was also available throughout the evening.
