The Guild holds monthly meetings which include TALKS and DEMONSTRATIONS from October through to May. These mostly take place on Friday evenings with an occasional Saturday meeting.

Linda Bloomfield – scientist turned potter who has researched new glaze colours from rare minerals and written books on colours, glazes, science for potters and contemporary tableware.

*Each year a new subject for the competition is selected and any current member of the Guild may enter this
competition. This year, the category is ‘things with lids’. The awards are presented by the Fitzwilliam family in memory of Mervyn Fitzwilliam who was one of the founding members of the Guild as well as the chair of DCPG for many years.
